Catch the free bus to Harbour Town Fridays to Sunday

Now there is no more reasons not to shop 'til you drop at Harbour Town Shopping Centre at Docklands.

Running Friday to Sunday between 10am - 6pm, there is now a free shuttle bus that takes shoppers from Southern Cross Station (on Collins Street) directly to Harbour Town Shopping Centre.

For those already in Docklands, they can pick up the shuttle bus outside Gloria Jeans on Bourke Street (near the corner of Harbour Esplanade) at 12.10pm, 12.40pm, 1.10pm, 1.40pm and 2.10pm, as it travels though to Harbour Town.

As Melbourne readies itself for the start of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, the Docklands will also welcome the event at The Designers' House.

Designers' House will host a Styling Workshop and Fashion Parade, featuring special guest Australian Designer, Tim O'Connor. He will showcase his stunning new Spring/Summer Collection, that will be available in store at Designers' House. Guests will also have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Tim, and grab a few styling tips. Other Designers' House labels will also feature in a beautiful fashion parade.

Costco opening draws thousands of bargain-hunters

Thousands of bargain-hunters have descended upon Melbourne's Docklands this morning to welcome the opening of the first Australian Costco supermarket.

The US retailer opened its doors at 7.30am this morning as eager shoppers queued outside, some from as early as 5am. More sign-ups for the membership-only store took place yesterday, with many keen to check out what is on offer inside the warehouse store.

Costco sells everything from cheap groceries to flat screen TVs, and stocks up to 3600 different product lines.
