    This weekend: AFL, school holiday activities & Docklands restaurants now on Twitter

    This weekend marks the last one of the school holidays, so what better way to spend it than to bring the kids to Docklands for some great activities. These include:

    "Meet the Dinosaurs" at Harbour Town - Free event until 25th April: Watch a Raptor come to life at Harbour Town Shopping Centre. It's a free event with plenty of activities for the kids.

    Butchers Grill Banquet Dinner - Chilean earthquake fundraiser, Thurs 29th April

    In the aftermath of the terrible earthquake in Chile, Butchers Grill have decided to try and do their bit to support the victims of this tragic disaster.

    Butchers Grill at Docklands will be holding a special banquet dinner in aid of those affected by the devastating earthquake in Chile.

    Banquets: Butchers Grill will donate $5 from each person who orders a banquet on the night. Banquet menus start range from $49 to $69 per person (min 2 people).

    Dockland's Etihad Stadium will once again play host to this year's Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. It is the eighth consecutive year that the stadium has held the annual event, and this year it hopes to raise even more much needed funds for the hospital. Free activities and games will be held for the kids throughout the day, with a special appearances by Dora the Explorer from 10am - 4pm.

    This weekend @ Docklands: Wooden Boat Festival, Chinese New Year, Market & $15 Pizza Pasta Day

    It's another jam-packed weekend at Docklands. Kicking off tonight will be St Kilda versus Collingwood in the pre-season NAB Cup. They play at Etihad Stadium tonight, doors open from 6pm. Check out what's also happening this weekend below:

    Melbourne Wooden Boat Festival (19th-21st Feb)
    The Melbourne Wooden Boat Festival at Victoria Harbour, brings together the wooden boat and classic yacht groups in and around the city. The event is designed to promote wooden boat heritage and connect a broader public with the spirit of timber boating. The program includes both on water and piazza displays (on land).     Celebrate Chinese New Year at Orient Express & Docklands!

    Boating enthusiasts, pay attention! The Melbourne Wooden Boat Festival brings together the wooden boat and classic yacht groups in and around the city. The event is designed to promote wooden boat heritage and connect a broader public with the spirit of timber boating.

    The Icehouse Grand Opening - Friday 12th February!

    The big screens at Waterfront City will be screening matches each day between 18th and 31st January. Televised broadcast will begin from 11am to 11pm (guaranteed minimum, subject to hours of play).
