This weekend at Docklands: AFL Grand Final, Kids Activities, International Moke Day & Battle of the Bands

2010 AFL Grand Final:
Collingwood vs St Kilda, 2:30pm
Who will be the ultimate champions? Join the thousands around Australia this Saturday, as we watch every second of the exciting AFL Grand Final to find out. Right in the heart of Docklands, the match will be broadcast live on the big screens in Waterfront City Piazza from 2:30pm. Head down before the game for a footy themed lunch or a quick drink with mates at one of Docklands best restaurants.

Spring Carnival at Harbour Town:
Until 17.10.10, 11am - 4pm
The carnival comes to Docklands these school holidays. There's a spring themed kids marquee full of wonderful activities to occupy their little minds. Kids can paint their own spring magnet to take home. Plus there's free magic shows and tarot readings. Located on level 1 at Harbour Town Shopping Centre. Entry into the Kids Marquee is free with a valid $10 receipt from any Harbour Town retailer.

Medibank Icehouse Battle of the Bands:
Experience the best live and local bands in Melbourne while you skate. On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights across September rock out to the sounds of emerging local bands live on stage rinkside on the massive Bradbury entertainment rink, with spectacular sound, lighting, big screen, and of course, live music! The two most popular bands will battle it out in an epic Grand Final showdown on Sunday 3rd October to a live skating audience.

International Moke Day:
Sunday sees Moke lovers from around Melbourne converge on Docklands. International Moke Day is the brainchild of Terry Pollard of and it has spread to locations all over the world, including England, Sri Lanka, Germany & New Zealand. Its basis is quite simple - one day each year, get as many Mokes out on display as possible. Meet these Moke maniacs and their vehicles at Waterfront City, Sunday 26th September.
