Winter Skate Festival
Medibank Icehouse has been transformed into a glittering winter dreamscape, and this is your last weekend to get in quick and enjoy loads of fun festival activities for the whole family!
The Festival includes free beginners skate lessons, snow play, giant snowballs on the ice, demonstrations by world class skaters, on ice dancing, games and lots of giveaways.
Kids can skate alongside Skater Dude, Fairy Penguin, figure skaters and other helpful ice ambassadors. A dedicated snow play area for children is also set up from 10am-5pm until Sunday to play games and build snowmen. Giant inflatable snow balls in the skating rink also add to the fun!
After all that skating, rebuild some energy with a meal from nearby waterfront restaurant Grill 66. They feature premium steaks cooked to perfection, and scrumptious desserts for all those sweet tooth's, such as the lemon meringue pie with raspberry sauce. Click here to view their menu.
The Winter Skate Festival runs until Sunday 17th.
Medibank Icehouse is open 7 days a week at 105 Pearl River Rd, Docklands.
