Variety Santa Fun Run
Celebrate Christmas, have fun and raise awareness and funds for Variety, the children’s charity. The 2011 Variety Santa Fun Run takes you around Docklands & consists of either a 5km or 10km distance. You can run it, walk it, skip it, hop it – finish it however you like, but just make sure you do it in your official five piece Variety Santa suit. The suit cost is included in your registration fee.

New Years on the Waterfront
Celebrate New Years with a bang! Docklands Waterfront is playing host to a variety of great celebrations- think delicious feasts with unspoilt views of the Harbours spectacular fireworks display.

Docklands Plans for the Weekend: Breakfast at Mecca Bah, State Election, Monaro Car Show & Santa Fun Run

Mecca Bah opens for breaky:
If you need a reason to get out of bed on the weekends, this is it. Mecca Bah is now serving breakfast on Saturday & Sunday from 9am - 11:30am. The new menu features the classics with a Middle Eastern twist. Here's a taste of what you can expect.

- Grilled Moroccan Merguez sausage, oven roasted tomatoes, Turkish bread and fried eggs
- Middle Eastern omelette, goat’s cheese, caramelized onion, rocket leaves and pine nuts
- Chakchouka - Traditional Egg Breakfast from the Middle East. Straight from our pizza oven, slow cooked eggs in a traditional tagine pot served with home made Druze pita and labne with za’atar.

State Election:
Saturday, 27th November
It's time go to the polls again. Docklands own voting centre can be found at The Hub @ Docklands. The Hub is located at 80 Harbour Esplanade, near the corner of Bourke Street and Harbour Esplanade. Voting booths are open from 8am - 6pm.

Join in all the excitement of the live broadcast from the tallyroom! Make your way to the Victory Room at Etihad Stadium from 6.00pm to watch the election results roll in. Click here for more information

Monaros at Docklands:
Sunday, 9am - 3pm
Attention all car enthusiasts. Australia's favourite muscle cars will be on display this weekend at Waterfront City Piazza as the Monaro Club of Victoria hold their annual car show. In this celebration of an Aussie classic, the finest specimens will be on display & trophies awarded to the best presented in each grade. The owners will also be on hand to answer questions about their pride and joy.
